Every wedding is the same…if you mean it’s a day when two people get married. Sure, there is some bridal prep, a ceremony, pictures being taken, and a reception full of wedding toasts, cake cutting and dancing. And there are also a lot of people, family and friends coming into town to see the couple tie the knot.
But as a wedding cinematographer I get to see all the little items that make each wedding different. Little details, inside jokes and really unique things. Here’s what I mean – this is a screenshot from Laura and Nicholas’ wedding that I’m just starting to edit. How is this for a cute ring-bearer? I love dogs so I took several opportunities to get some shots of this pup.
Then there are the actual couples themselves - and their bridal parties. I've never met any group that was the same as the last. Sometimes it's the humor, sometimes it's the history. In the case of Maria and Matthew and their bridal party, it was all about fun and laughs. Screenshot below....
Every wedding is the same....because each one is different. I'm lucky to experience all of them.
